Prunes versus fresh plums

Dried plums containing 26% of recommended daily intake of vitamin C, 13% of the vitamin K and 11% of vitamin A, retinol, iron, potassium, thiamine, riboflavin, and calcium, with vitamin B6, which helps to matabolizarea amount of sugar.

On the other hand, the same portion, but the fresh fruit contains 87% of the recommended daily dose of vitamin K. The soluble fiber, the prunes are rich, slow down glucose absorption, which stabilizes the blood sugar level.

In fact, the prunes are a source of nutrients and phytonutrients concentrates all of which are found in the fresh fruit. Thus, their potential antioxidant is 6 times higher in the dry version, compared to the fresh solution fructului.În addition, prunes have a higher antioxidant content than most other dried fruits.

All vitamins and nutrients found in prunes contribute to whole body health, including aspects related to skin or hair view (iron content can prevent hair loss).
